Hello, my name is Anne. I trained as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist with PCI College and Middlesex University. Having graduated with a BSc. (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy I became an Accredited Member of IACP. I also hold a Certificate in Advocacy and am a certified QPR Gatekeeper Instructor, which I gained in 2016 from The Quinnett Institute, Spokane, Washington. I have also trained in CISM.

In 2005, I embraced the journey into Psychotherapy and it’s been an ongoing, wonderful journey since. I feel blessed to be able to accompany people at a time in their lives where they are challenged and need support. It was through my lived experience that I embraced the journey and now, today, I can say with certainty that “my own lived experience” has been the greatest learning of all. The study put a structure and gave it form.

I work will all age groups covering a wide range of issues. My way of working is very much based on Carol Rogers, the “Client at the Core”, and person-focused. For me, holding the client with respect in a non-judgemental way, and then using whatever model I think best suits the client's needs. I see myself as someone who works with many modalities in the quest to support the client.

I always feel that it’s such a privilege and honour to be in a position to accompany another human being at a time in their lives where they are challenged and seeking direction.
