Hi, my name is Breda, Life isn't always easy, sometimes we experience problems that can
cause us to feel stressed, anxious, or overwhelmed. Therapy can help you make sense of
your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

I am a qualified Counsellor/Psychotherapist with over ten years’ experience and a fully
accredited member of the IACP. I have a BA in Counselling and Psychotherapy and a HDip in
Relationship counselling. I have vast experience of working with people from many
different backgrounds with many different issues.

My approach to counselling and psychotherapy is Integrative which means that I use a range
of therapeutic techniques depending upon each individuals needs and what they are
experiencing. Each individual is unique and has their own experiences with endless
potential and the ability to self-actualize when the right conditions are met.

I strive to offer you a safe environment where you will be listened to, respected, supported
and empowered to deal with any issues which you feel may be holding you back in your life.
I am available for both short-term and long-term work.

The approach I use is Integrative depending on what best suits the client which includes Gestalt, CBT, Mindfulness, Solution
Focused, Psychodynamic, and Person Cantered. I feel it is important for clients to have
someone listen to them and hear their reality of the challenges they have lived through or
are facing. Issues in which I can support clients include but not limited to the following:
 Abuse
 Anxiety
 Bereavement
 Childhood Trauma
 Depression
 Health Related Issues
 Life Coaching
 Personal Development
 Self Esteem / Confidence
 Sexuality Issues
 Stress
 Trauma
 Work Related Issues
 Relationship issues

I have worked in private practice with individuals and couples and have volunteered as a
Relationship Counsellor with Accord Relationship Counselling Service since 2012. During
this time have seen many couples and individuals with various different issues and
experiences and have provided a safe space for them to explore these.
