I am Kelly, a professionally qualified and fully accredited counsellor and psychotherapist based in Co. Kildare.
I am well aware that starting therapy can feel daunting. I am here to support and guide you and create a warm and welcoming space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviour. I am devoted to creating a safe space for all, independent of race, culture, sexual orientation, age, or religion. After having lived and worked in three different countries, I have cultural awareness and appreciation of diversity, which are a principle of my practice.
We will work in a collaborative fashion, using your strengths to empower you to take steps towards well-being, going at your own pace, and in your own time. My approach is tailored to you and takes into consideration your individual needs. I use evidence-based approaches to best help you work through challenges. Depending on your specific needs, as an integrative therapist, I draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches: CBT, ACT, SFBT, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, and Expressive Therapy.
I work with adults and adolescents, presenting with anxiety, depression, parenting matters, school issues, stress-related conditions, self-esteem, relationship issues, pre and postpartum experiences, personal development, grief and bereavement.
Some of my qualifications include, but are not limited to:
Level 8 (Hons) Counselling and Psychotherapy from ICHAS, Limerick
Certificate in Child and Adolescent Development from IICP, Dublin
Certificate in CBT with Children and Adolescents from IICP, Dublin
Certificate in Play, Creative Media, and Expressive Arts from IICP, Dublin
