“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are “- Carl Jung

You are the expert in your own life and therefore hold all the answers.

My role as a therapist is to kindly hold pace for you to find those answers. I am a fully qualified therapist with several years' experience working with both adults and adolescents. I use a solution focused and integrated approach to support a person's mental, physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing.

I would describe myself as genuine, warm, empathetic and approachable. I have specialist qualifications to support young people and/or families with alcohol and drug issues and additional qualifications to support parents who are struggling with violence and  aggression from their children in the home.

My own life journey and personal experience of counselling led me on this path to support others and
dedicate my life and work to helping people to love and accept themselves. I believe that being listened
to and validated is the most important part of counselling.

A professionally held space allows for the identification, embodiment and release of the traumas that we store from our experiences in childhood.
Over time as we build a trusting relationship and work together, we will begin to identify the behaviour
patterns that are not always helpful to you and learn supportive coping skills that will improve your
wellbeing and your relationships. This is always led by you and therefore my main goal is to support you
to feel those deep feelings and lessen the power they hold over you.

I offer short- and longer-term therapy depending on your needs. Types of work include but are not
limited to; self-esteem, anger, anxiety, school attendance, drug and alcohol issues, familial problems
and trauma.
