I am a fully accredited integrative Psychotherapist and I feel privileged to help others explore their thoughts, experiences, and challenges.  In sessions I draw on aspects of person-centred, CBT, solution focused, existential, gestalt and psychodynamic approaches.  My interest in this area comes from a livelong interest in the Human mind, behaviours, existence, and I have personal experience of illness, diagnosis, grief, and resilience.   At present I am a Doctoral Candidate in Psychotherapy focused on Health/Illness Psychology, I hold a master’s degree in Psychotherapy & Counselling, an Honours Degree in Psychology, a Postgraduate Degree in Public Management, and a Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology.  To compliment this study, I have also trained as a Reiki Practitioner and a Diet Coach.

Previous clients (Teens, men & women) have come to therapy because they have experience of complex trauma, developmental disorders, neurodivergence, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideation, sexual abuse, stress, childhood trauma, identity, relationships, domestic abuse, diagnosis, health challenges, eating disorders, stress, depression, alcohol/drug dependency, chronic illness, and family challenges.

Therapy is a healthy way to voice your emotions and thoughts.  You can disclose what you feel comfortable talking about at your own pace in a safe, secure, and private space.  Many people come to therapy to help with current struggles or past experiences, but many also attend just to maintain their mental health. Each person’s life experience is important, however as we know sometimes it can be challenging, therefore talking can help to clear our minds, uncover our feelings, and understand our emotions.  Therapy can be challenging, but it can also be very rewarding, and everyone deserves to be heard and to be supported.

I wish you the best with your experience of therapy, and if you wish to get in touch for a chat I look forward to it.
