Hi, I'm Aideen and I am a fully accredited person-centred therapist who is passionate about helping others and am a member of APCP (Association of Professional Counsellors & Psychotherapists in Ireland). With a degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy and over 20 years of experience I have worked with people experiencing a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, overwhelm, procrastination, fear, trauma, stress, suicidal thoughts, anger issues, relationship difficulties, parenting issues, health diagnosis, long term illness- in particular Multiple Sclerosis, and addiction. I have also supported people who have come for support due to having a general malaise with life, who felt stuck or unable to progress and have felt there was something missing from their lives.

I am a qualified NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) practitioner, a qualified Coach and Personal Development Practitioner. These are accredited talking approaches which can help you identify beliefs, values and patterns of behaviour which may be no longer serving you.

I use varying therapeutic interventions such as Solution Focused Therapy, NLP, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness and Gestalt techniques.  These approaches combined can be powerful in helping you overcome what might be holding you back or keeping you stuck in life. I have used these skills and techniques personally and have seen the dramatic positive impact they can have on one’s life.

I provide a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space whereby we can work collaboratively to identify what has brought you to therapy. My goal is to help others to develop a healthy mindset that will support them throughout life and help them cope with life's challenges long after they have finished therapy.
