My name is Breege, and I am a proud Mayo woman, now living in Donegal. I am an experienced counsellor working with adults of all ages, children, and adolescents on a wide range of issues such as, anxiety, depression, anger, grief, loss, guilt, trauma, early childhood trauma, addiction; alcohol, substance, gambling, sexual, etc, self-harm, HIV, self-esteem, confidence and relationship difficulties, bullying and much more.

Having qualified as a counsellor in 2014, I went on to gain a BSc (Hons) Degree in Professional Development in Counselling in 2017 and gained my accreditation in 2021. I mainly work from a person-centred approach however I am qualified to integrate other approaches when need, having discussed this with the client. I offer an empathic, non-judgemental relationship enabling clients to work through their problems and regain the power over their own lives in order to achieve their personal growth.

"We often, talk to family and/or friends however sometimes it is better to speak to someone who is not involved. There can be many reasons why it might help to talk. You may be feeling depressed or tired of life or experiencing anxiety and stress. Perhaps you have experienced an illness, job loss or other life event. My approach is humanistic (person-centred) and integrative. This means that I am concerned with your interests and welfare. I will help you to explore your thoughts and feelings and how they are affecting your life.

"I believe that you know best what is right for you and your own life and will support you in making decisions that are right for you".

I look forward to working with you.
